We keep this simple. We only collect what we need, we never sell your data, and you can ask us to delete it at any time.
1. Who we are

2. What data we collect and why
Enquiry form
When you submit the contact form we collect your name, email address, phone number (optional), and the message you type. We use this solely to respond to your enquiry. Legal basis: legitimate interests (responding to a direct request from you).
Analytics
We use Google Analytics 4 to understand how visitors use the site (pages visited, time on page, broad geographic region). This data is anonymised and aggregated — we cannot identify you from it. Legal basis: legitimate interests. You can opt out at any time using the link in our cookie notice.
If you contact us via the WhatsApp button, your message is handled by Meta Platforms Inc. under their own privacy policy. We receive your name and message; we use it only to respond to you.
3. How long we keep your data
Enquiry emails are kept for up to 2 years, after which they are deleted unless you have become a client (in which case we keep relevant records for 6 years for tax and legal purposes). Analytics data is retained for 14 months and then automatically deleted by Google.
4. Who we share your data with
We do not sell, rent, or trade your personal data. We share it only with:
- Formspree — processes contact form submissions on our behalf. They store submissions securely and are GDPR-compliant.
- Google Analytics — receives anonymised site usage data.
- Our staff — only those who need to see it to respond to your enquiry.
5. Your rights under UK GDPR
You have the right to: access the personal data we hold about you; ask us to correct inaccurate data; ask us to delete your data ("right to be forgotten"); object to our processing; and request a copy in a portable format. To exercise any of these rights, email us at hello@localboost.co.uk and we will respond within 30 days.
You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) if you believe we have mishandled your data.
6. Cookies
We use the following cookies:
- _ga, _ga_XXXXXXXX — Google Analytics. Expire after 2 years.
- Cloudflare cookies — security and performance. Session-scoped.
You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.
7. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy occasionally. The "last updated" date at the top will change when we do. Significant changes will be noted on the homepage.
