Terms & conditions

Last updated: June 2026  ·  Local Boost Ltd, registered in England & Wales

Plain English first: we build what we agree, you pay what we quote, and we both behave reasonably. The formal version is below.

1. About us

Local Boost Ltd ("Local Boost", "we", "us") is registered in England and Wales. By using this website or engaging our services you agree to these terms.

2. Our services

We provide website design, local SEO, Google Business Profile management, social media setup, and related digital marketing services for small UK businesses. The specific scope of work for each client is agreed in a separate written proposal before we begin.

3. Pricing and payment

4. What you provide

You agree to supply us with accurate content (text, images, opening hours, etc.) in a timely manner. Delays caused by late content may affect the agreed timeline and we accept no liability for resulting delays.

5. Intellectual property

Once final payment is received, you own the website design and content we create for you. We retain the right to show the work in our portfolio. Any third-party assets (fonts, stock images, plugins) remain subject to their own licences.

6. Hosting and domain names

Unless agreed otherwise, you are responsible for purchasing and maintaining your own hosting and domain name. We will advise you on suitable options. We accept no liability for downtime or data loss caused by third-party hosting providers.

7. Results and guarantees

We do not guarantee specific search engine rankings or a specific number of enquiries. Search engines operate independently and rankings change over time. We will always act in your best interests using industry best practices.

8. Limitation of liability

To the maximum extent permitted by law, our total liability to you for any claim arising from our services is limited to the fees you have paid us in the 12 months preceding the claim. We are not liable for any indirect or consequential losses, including loss of profit or loss of data.

9. Cancellation

If you cancel a one-time project after work has begun, you will be invoiced for work completed to that point at our standard day rate. The deposit is non-refundable once work has started.

10. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of England and Wales.

11. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The current version is always at localboost.co.uk/terms.html. Continued use of our services after changes constitutes acceptance.
